La Cage Aux Needlepoint Canvas

Here's a shot of the needlepoint canvas "cage". You can sort of see that the sides are distorted where I folded it inwards and let the bag dry with the top edge under the fridge pack 'o Diet Cherry Coke. Am pretty sure the thing to do is disassemble the Cage, cover it with fabric, reassemble, then sew the whole thing into the bag. Somehow.
